1. Ignition wire assembly

1.1 The surface of the wire body and the rubber cap should be smooth, clean, and without any cracks. The wire body and the rubber sleeve should be firmly bonded, and the connector and the wire body should be riveted firmly.

1.2 The line markings and model numbers are obvious and do not fall off.

 

2. Flame retardant performance of wire body

Within 10 seconds after the combustion flame is removed, the flame of the damping wire body automatically extinguishes.

 

3. Voltage resistance performance

3.1 Power frequency AC voltage 35KV, no breakdown within 1 minute.    

3.2 The power frequency AC voltage is 30KV, and it will not be broken down within 30 minutes.

 

4. High temperature resistance

The insulation layer of the wire body, rubber joints and bakelite parts should be free of aging, cracks and other defects at a temperature of 150°C for 48 hours.

 

5. Oil resistance

Soak in automotive engine oil that meets the regulations for 48 hours. The insulation layer should be free of cracks and bubbles. The resistance value before and after the test will not change more than 1%. The diameter of the rubber joint will not change more than 15%, and the length will not change more than 10%.

 

6. Anti-corona effect

After applying 15 kv AC voltage for 8 hours, the insulation layer should be free of cracks and other forms of defects and breakdown.

 

7. Tensile strength

It shall not break when a tensile force of 250N is applied.
8.Temperature characteristics

When placed at 120°C for 24 hours, the resistance of the resistor wire changes by no more than 5%, and the resistance of the inductor wire changes by no more than 1%.

 

9. Moisture resistance

at a temperature of 40°C. In an environment with a relative humidity of more than 90%, the resistance value of the resistor wire will not change by more than 5% after 96 hours, and the resistance value of the inductor wire will not change by more than 1%.    

 

10. Water resistance

10.1 After the water resistance test, the resistance value of the damping wire body shall not change by more than 5%, and the resistance value of the inductor wire body shall not change by more than 1%.   

10.2 After a 3-minute water intrusion test on the joint sheaths of the damping wire assembly, there is no obvious water mark in the joints.    

 

11.Heat shrinkage performance

The maximum shrinkage length of the damping wire in a 150°C high temperature box after 15 minutes does not exceed 2%.    

 

12. Insertion force and extraction force

The damping wire is matched with the corresponding connector, its insertion force is not greater than 49N, and its pull-out force is 9.8N ---68.6N.   

 

13. Pull-off force

The wire body and the connector should be firmly connected. The pull-off force between the long terminal and the wire body is not less than 196N in the cold state, and the pull-off force between the short terminal and the wire body is not less than 118N; in the hot state

120ºC. After maintaining for 30 minutes, the pull-off force between the long terminal and the wire body is not less than 118N, and the pull-off force between the short terminal and the wire body is not less than 98N.
