| Detailed | This is the 80A Version of the 75A 7732-2. The Pulleys Vary, and Clock Positions are Either 10:00 or 2:00 (See 7744-10). The 7744 Can Replace the 40-75A 7088-2 and 7732-2 Units, BUT Do NOT Install a Replacement Alternator Without First Carefully Checking, and Replacing if Necessary, the Rectifier (B-B-S) Plug, as the Contacts May Have Opened Up With Removing and Re-fitting the Plug, or Simply With Age. A Significant Heat Build-up Can Occur at this Connection, and Can Cause Early Failure, and Possibly Even a Fire. |
