| Detailed | This is the 75A Version of the 40-65A 7088-10. The Pulleys Vary, and Clock Positions are Either 10:00 or 2:00 (See 7732-2). If the 80A Version is Needed, Use 7744-2 or 7744-10. The 7732 Can Replace the 40-65A 7088-10 Units, BUT Do NOT Install a Replacement Alternator Without First Carefully Checking, and Replacing if Necessary, the Rectifier (B-B-S) Plug, as the Contacts May Have Opened Up With Removing and Re-fitting the Plug, or Simply With Age. A Significant Heat Build-up Can Occur at this Connection, and Can Cause Early Failure, and Possibly Even a Fire. |
